Sometimes all I want is for people to make it clear - not necessarily the whole picture, but how the details will effect me. As business owners, our minds are juggling so many things: the needs of the business, the welfare of our workers and always the bottom line - how successful are we and where will we be tomorrow? Ted Stearns

Even more pressing are the economical issues facing us today. If we’re not in a recession, it certainly feels like it to most of us. Consumers are staying at home and spending less and lending is at a virtual standstill. While we wait for Wall Street to stabilize we have the presidential election in two weeks with many resting their hopes on a new hero to bring change - anything really, just change. Ted Stearns

So I ask again, “How will all of this effect me? How will it effect you as a business owner?” SmallBusinessVotes.com is a non-partisan website dedicated “to keep small business owners informed of small-business related developments within the political sphere.” People making it clear. Ted Stearns

We at iMerchant Advance are in the business of “making it clear.” Whether a traditional loan may be right for you or a no-interest merchant cash advance, our business experts are able to point you in the right direction. 3 Problems, 3 Answers Ted Stearns

I can’t take away all your problems. If I could this would be the most popular blog in cyber space. But I can direct you to answers for some of your greatest business-related problems: Ted Stearns

1. Funding

While a traditional loan may be the only route that you have taken, it is still an answer for many. Today banks are even tighter than they were a month ago and it is nearly impossible to get more than $20 out of the bank, let alone 200K.  On an average, nine out of ten business owners who would typically qualify for a bank loan, are being turned down in this market. A merchant cash advance may be the answer you’re looking for. A merchant advance is a no-interest, no-hassle, no-lengthly application approach to getting funds againstfuture earnings and paying them back in a way that is convenient and comfortable for you. Ted Stearns

2. Time:

As a business owner you usually needed money yesterday. A merchant cash advance can get you the money you need in 7 days to be used for any business-related need: payroll, rent, expansion, machinery etc. There is no need to fill out lengthly loan applications, business plans and to wait 30-45 days to be told “no.” After filling out a simple application, you can receive your funds in a fast as 7 days. Ted Stearns

3. Re-payment:

Unlike the pressures of a traditional loan, a merchant cash advance is paid back at the pace of your company’s production. Instead of being strapped by payments compounded by accumulating interest, a percentage of your credit/debit transactions go directly to paying down your advance. During a good month, your advance is paid back more quickly, a slow month at a slower rate. Your balance is always decreasing and NEVER increases due to interest - there is none. Ted Stearns

Whether a traditional loan or a merchant advance better fits your business needs, we at iMerchant Advance are prepared to direct you. For more information about a no-interest cash advance visit our site @www.imerchantadvance.com or call 888.838.6006. Ted Stearns Ted Stearns

Everyone is looking for that million dollar idea.  For most, the idea was discovered right under their nose. I attended a OneCoach conference this weekend and heard an entrepreneur making $1.2 million this year tell her story and her simple, successful idea. After years as a hair stylist, she realised women didn’t know how to blow dry their hair - so she made a video and sells it online. That’s it. Simple? Successful? Yes. Ted Stearns

What is your million dollar idea? To hear the success stories of others and to find some inspiration, check out Daily Blog Tips’ Sunday post. Sometimes all you need is an idea. Ted Stearns

With that successful idea, you need funding. With banks saying “no” to 90% of small businesses looking for a loan, iMerchant Advance can get you the capital you need, paid against future earnings. Instead of getting yourself trapped into a financial commitment with compounding interest and predetermined paybacks, consider a no-interest merchant advance. With flexible paybacks that fluctuate with the rate of your sales, merchant funding is a prudent choice in today’s unstable market. Ted Stearns

No Rip-offs by Ted Stearns

No Rip-offs Ted Stearns

I hate being ripped off. As a consumer it’s painful enough to pay for things these days, let alone knowing that you’re paying more for nothing. I went to a local Postal Annex this morning to get a key copied. The price was fair and it was convenient. When I went to pay I was informed that there would be a 50 cent charge for using my debit/credit card. I had no cash, the service had been performed and I was stuck. 50 cents is not a lot of money - but why treat customers that way? I’d been there before and asked if that was a new “disservice.” It was, and it will be the last time I go there.  Ted Stearns

On the flip-side, my local grocery store credits my purchase 5 cents for every bag I bring in. That 15 cents a visit is not going to pay my mortgage, but it’s just plain nice.  Anyone can smell a rip-off Ted Stearns

.

In business, whether as the consumer or the owner, no one likes to be taken advantage of. But as a business owner sometimes you have to take a hit to keep a customer. It’s the often painful Yin and Yang of business. But, any discount you give, guarantees a customer, a faithful customer. Ted Stearns

We at iMerchant Advance provide a service with no surprises and no rip-offs. There are no hidden fees and most of our customers come back to us again and again for a merchant cash advance There are no upfront fees and our fee is simply added to the merchant advance balance, to be paid off at the same no-interest, flexible payment program as the rest of the funds. As your credit/debit transactions are processed an agreed-upon percentage is simply paid directly to your ever-diminishing balance. No surprises, no rip-offs.  Ted Stearns

With a report out today that consumers have cut their spending the most since 1980, businesses are bracing for a slow holiday season. Americans are feeling the financial squeeze - and they’re not alone. As a small business owner, so are you.  Ted Stearns

If it’s any conciliation, you are not alone. While you want to do more than just keep afloat, you don’t have a lot of money to pour into it. Over at Small Business Trends blog, their post “12 Low-Cost Marketing Ideas” can point you in the right direction. Ted Stearns

Not all the ideas were my style - but who cares - they may be yours. # 3 “Meeting your Customers Half-way” is a great place to start. It is practical and effective and I can appreciate it both as a business owner, but even more so as a consumer.  Think about what speaks to you, what makes you open your wallet as a buyer and apply it as a business owner. Ted Stearns

Another suggestion, YouTube. If you haven’t visited - you need to. It is a great place to advertise your business and explain your products/services in a down-to-earth environment. Whenever I want more info on a product or a “how-to,” I head there. It’s easy, cheap and effective. Ted Stearns

Take a look. Ted Stearns
